Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Lisa Mattravers was my sister and my best mate.  After the bravest of battles against a rare form of cancer Lisa died in 2007.  Lisa was 32 years old.  She was the wittiest, talented and most loving person in my life and I miss her every day.

Running the London Marathon is a massive challenge for me.  It’s also a great way to do something positive in Lisa’s memory to raise some vital funds for a brilliant local charity.  Lisa spent some of her final days at the Halton Haven Hospice.  The Haven relies on fundraising to ensure it can continue to care for people like Lisa for years to come.

Please give generously and help keep Lisa’s memory alive with me.

Thank you

Mike
