National 3 peaks · 23 September 2016

Anyone can get Parkinson’s. It gets worse over time and there’s no cure. Yet. Funding research into the most promising treatments, we’re getting closer to a cure. Until then, we're improving life for people with Parkinson’s, and the people in their lives. Together we'll find a cure.

Story

This is one of our three fundraising pages. This September, Marble Hill Partners is taking on its biggest charity challenge yet!

The National 3 Peaks!

We’ll be trekking up to the top of the three highest peaks in England, Scotland and Wales.  We are aiming to finish all three within a 24 hour period – meaning some night time climbing and little rest in between.

We’ll be taking the north south option, starting on a Saturday the 24th at 7am with the climb of Ben Nevis – the highest and most challenging of the three, at 1345 metres. With a target time of 5 and a half hours, once that’s finished around lunchtime, we transfer to Scafell Pike for an evening climb starting around 6pm, and scheduled to take around 4 hours. Then it’s off to Wales for Snowdon, the final peak, with a punishing 3am start time. Climbing in the dark, with very little sleep and tired legs, we’ll need to descend by 7am to meet the 24-hour goal.

Since the whole team is taking part in the challenge and we are passionate about many different causes we have decided to split our raised funds between three incredible organisations; Hand in Hand for Syria, Parkinson's and The Royal Marsden Cancer Charity.

Please note that any donations made on this page will be automatically transferred to Parkinson's. If you wish to donate to one of our other two charities please follow the link below:
