Hello everyone,

My name is Marc Brightside. I am an author of poetry and realist fiction for adults, currently based in London, in the UK. I first discovered poetry under the tuition of the acclaimed Julian Stannard, and have been writing and publishing poetry ever since. Don't listen to what those outside of the community might say; poetry is very much alive, kicking and screaming against the face of change.

This fundraiser is to help refurbish and revitalise an important emblem of London's poetry scene, while also giving both emerging and established writers a brief moment to celebrate the success of an art-form we all love. Your support, whatever form it may take, will always be appreciated.
