Hello Everyone,

I've decided to get off my arse and do something for a change, so I'm doing this year’s Liverpool Santa Dash (a 5K run through Liverpool City Centre).

As you all know, my athletic ability leaves a lot to be desired and many of you will be amazed that I’m even doing this! However, I feel that the time has come to make a change personally, and to also make a difference to others, which is why I have decided to ask for charitable donations to my chosen charity, Christopher’s Place.

So what is Christopher’s Place and why I have chosen them as my charity?

Christopher’s Place is a charity, set up to help children under the age of 5 who suffer from hearing impairment, delay in speech, language and communication. Over the past 15 years, Christopher’s Place has earned an outstanding reputation for developing innovative therapy programmes that really make a difference to a child's life. I have chosen Christopher’s Place as I was one of those children who benefited from the support given by a speech therapist.

I have not set myself a fund raising goal as I have none, I’m simply doing the dash for myself, but if I can help others in the process, then here is my effort to do so.
