Hello!

Myself and Martyn Duffy are unfit and love beer. So what better way to get in shape than signing up for a half marathon in September?

(Did we think this through? ....No.)

We're both running the Great North Run on Sunday September 16th through Newcastle. I'm running for sponsership for the Guide Dogs For The Blind.

It's a worthy cause, plus I get to meet some puppies when I'm done, so it's win-win. Unless I get bitten by a puppy. Or myself or Martyn don't manage to finish the 13miles. Or I get wee'd on. (By a puppy, not by Martyn.)

ANYWAY! Sponser me, sponser the puppies, sponser guide dogs, and sponser Martyn if you have any more spare change. (Sponser me first though.)

I'll keep updating with my progress.

Thanks!!!

Marc.

The ability to get around is vital in order to live a full life yet thousands of people with sight loss never leave home alone. We empower visually impaired people to do that and rely on the support of the public to fund the guide dog service.
