Hi there!

Welcome to our first fundraising effort and thank you for visiting our JustGiving site! We would love it if instead of buying us gifts for our full moon celebration, that you make a donation in memory of our great grandmother, Ng Poh Cheng, who passed away of Alzheimer's disease exactly two years prior to our conception.

Mum tells us that she was a beautiful person, both inside and outside, and that the disease not only took her away, but also caused much pain and heartache to those who cared for her by turning her into a shadow of her former self.  

She brought up 6 children almost single handedly, working day and night sewing intricate buttons and button holes on women's mandarin dresses and men's dress blouses. We would have loved to have met her.

We cannot think of a better way of honoring her memory than dedicating our special celebration to her.
