Hello guys!
Thanks a lot for checking this out, and hopefully helping me help someone that needs money more than i do!
The story is: because Yuppi the dog is a bit overweight (and i wanna fit in my bikinis for summer!), we've been trying to go for a run a few mornings a week. However, running is not that fun, so i thought wise for myself to commit to something else more rewarding than just keeping fit as to keep me going... Yuppi doesnt need any extra incentive though, she loves it!
Now, long story short but after quite some consideration, ive decided to support the Fairtrade Foundation (FF) because fairtrade is something i really believe in. It is basically paying a fair price for products imported from poorer countries so that communities there can develop and live a happier and healthier life. It sounds fair to me!!!!
So i've commited to raising 250 pounds... it seems quite feasible to me, but i do need as much help as i can get - being a student has made me poor :-( ish
i am hoping fundraising will be much easier than running... the good people of the FF have said that running fast is not important at all as long as i finish, but since there will be someone waiting to make sure i cross the finish line, i better not take too long! :-p
so... if you can help with any amount, that will be fantastic. if you cant spare any, but can tell a friend who might be able to, that is fab too.
For now, thank you very very much for taking the time to visit my justgiving page! And if you feel inspired, there are millions of good causes out there that desperately need support.
cheerio
xx
