Maureen Ricketts (my mother in law) was diagnosed with myeloma (blood & bone cancer) in January 2009. The Karen Morris foundation has supported us tremendously by providing a home from home for Mervyn, Maureen’s husband and Mary Norris her daughter during the periods of her most difficult and emotional treatments. As a way of giving something back to this most worthy charity that is funded entirely on donations I will be holding a sponsored head and beard shave (using bic razors!)
