I`m running the Virgin London Marathon on the 25th April 2010  - giving me 165 days to get from 0 to 26.2 miles!!!

 

As you know, previously my attitude to running has been -  only run when chased !!!

And I`m not exactly the fitness guru as you may also know !

 

However, I`ve stopped smoking and I`ve been given an amazing opportunity to run next year and raise a minimum £3000 for the charity CORE www.corecharity.org.uk

 

CORE is a charity which funds about £1 million per year into research into ALL and ANY digestive disorder.

Its also provides information for sufferers, families and friends as well as increasing the public awareness of the symptoms of digestive disease.

  UPDATE : Running going well, up to 5 miles 3-4 times a week now !!

                     Slight ankle injury before Xmas but settled with rest and a new pair of trainers !!
