Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
The amazing work done by charities such as Sue Ryder struck me on a personal level as my husband suffered a stroke in May 2011. Through some great medical care and treatment at the Acute Stroke Unit at ARI, he made a full recovery and has over the years raised money for his own elected charity.
After recovering from a running injury, it has spurred me onto competing (and hopefully completing) the D33 Ultra Marathon which is to be held on Saturday 16th March. I basically have to run from Aberdeen to Banchory and back again.
All the money received will be donated to the Dee View Court, Neurological Centre in Aberdeen (for more details, please visit https://www.sueryder.org).
