Happy New Year to you all
Sunday 17th April 2011 will see Darren run the London Marathon in support of Kidney Research UK.
Margaret Hughes passed away on 9th September 2009 as a result of a chronic kidney condition. Whilst we were aware that she had had some issues with her kidneys during 2005 her condition was never fully diagnosed or treated. Hopefully by supporting this charity we will be able to help others who are in similar position.
We would like to thank you all for your kind donations so far. Darren has to raise an additional £1800 in 2011 and we would hope that you will all be able to support us in raising this before the race.

Sunday 19th September sees Barry and Darren embark on their third trip to Newcastle to do the Great North Run. Preparation is going better for Barry! Barry's entry has come through a Kidney Research UK charity place. As part of our continuing committment to keep Mum's memory alive and to support those who have a similar condition to Mum we'd be really grateful if people could help sponsor Barry for his half marathon. Who knows where this may lead, maybe the London Marathon???

We are all devastated about what happended to Marg/Mum. She had a chronic kidney disease, and whilst we knew that she had been diagnosed with kideney problems some time ago she had always produced clear results. We think that giving to this charity will help enable others to possibly be diagnosed and helped in the future.
We have been very fortunate to be able to have support from all of our family and friends since she passed away on Wendesday 9th September 2009. We have been overwhealmed by the donations in Marg's name. Thanks to all those who have donated.
If anyone has fond memories of Marg can they please email them to dhughes@hbj-gw.com or text to 07920 218082 at any time when you may think of them. I am sure there are lots of stories that we either haven't heard before or have forgotten during the course of time.
Marg was a very special person who we loved greatly and we will always miss her.
Bry, Barry and Darren
