I have been married for 41 years and am very fortunate to have 3 healthy sons and 5 healthy grandchildren.

I am Lady Captain at Fishwick Hall Golf Club and in my year of office I have chosen my Charity to be Rainbow House The Legacy as it is located in the village of Mawdesley where I live. I have visited The Legacy and seen what a fantastic job is being done for these children.

We are doing several things during the year to raise funds but my main event is a parachute jump. It is taking place on 14th of August at the Black Nights Parachute Centre at Cockerham, Lancaster.

Last year when I was Lady Vice Captain I was walking down the 9th fairway with my sister and dropped into the conversation that I was planning to do the parachute jump, her jaw dropped in disbelief, I don't think she thought I would go through with it, my boys thought I was mad, my husband has dusted the policy, but now it is booked I am on my way.
