The team at Lincoln Farm, who rescue around 1,000 dogs each year, are desperately seeking funds to fence a new off-lead training area.

“We desperately need funds to buy fencing in order to enclose an area of our site, this will help us so much in exercising, training and socialising our dogs off- lead in readiness for successful adoption”. Explains Claire Ross, Manager of Margaret Green Animal Rescue, Lincoln Farm. “We already have a fantastic exercise field for our dogs but it would be really useful to have another secure area, so that when dogs are being walked on leads in one field, we can do off-lead work in the other”.

“We have a small field we can use if we can raise money for fencing to make the area safe for the dogs, but we can’t afford the funds to do it ourselves. We are asking the public to help us by sponsoring a metre of fencing. We need a total of 235 metres to complete the job, and it’s just under £1.50 a metre. Every £1.50 we receive will get us a metre closer to finishing the field and will take a great strain off the staff here. They will then have two safe outdoor training areas in which to work with our rescue dogs”.
