The Historic Churches Ride and Stride event is now over. I managed to visit five churches and cycled for two hours in fairly blustery conditions! However, it is not too late for you to donate to this excellent cause, so please help me to swell my total and achieve my target! Any donation, however small, will be much appreciated. All the money raised will go to the maintenance and repair of our rich heritage of ancient churches and chapels. Shropshire has over 350 of these, the majority of which are listed buildings, including my own 12th Century village church of St. Mary's, Astley.
