Virgin London Marathon 2011 · 17 April 2011 ·

Our mission is to lead research into better treatments, to support children and families with relevant information and advice, to work with health professionals to improve care, and to give children a voice to increase public understanding of Crohn's and colitis.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Many of you already know that I have been successful in gaining a place in this year's London Marathon, which I am looking forward to (in theory!)

As you can see from the photograph I have chosen to run for   CICRA (a children's crohns charity)

Most of you are aware that Patrick was diagnosed with crohns in 2007.  Over the last few years he has been very poorly, but has made his mum very proud to have a son like him.  With his positive attidude he has learnt to get on and accept his condition and when he suffered badly, you never really heard a complaint from him. He is now on a new medication which has finally given me back a normal seventeen year old lad.

You can see two photos, one is of Patrick when first diagnosed in 2007 and now in 2011.  Without the support from these charities, funding into research would be limited.  I am the only runner the charity has this year and I would like to raise as much as possible for them.

This is my opportunity to give something back in return  for getting Patrick back.

THANK YOU IN ADVANCE FOR YOUR SUPPORT

So please dig deep and donate now.
