Acid violence is a particularly vicious form of premeditated violence, where acid is thrown usually at the face to disfigure, maim and blind, but not to kill. We provide medical expertise and training to 6 partner organisations, raise valuable funds to support survivors and help to change laws.

Story

This September, our all-women Oxford team will attempt to make the historic English Channel crossing from Dover to Calais.

With your help, we hope to raise funds for Acid Survivors Foundation Pakistan, an organization that has supported victims of acid domestic violence (mostly women and children) with medical and psycho-social assistance since 2006.

Thank you for your support!

Mari Rabie, Nina Hall, Amanda Gilbertson, Anthea Lindquist, Natasha Simonsen, and Ginger Turner

Proud to represent The Rhodes Trust. Many thanks to Michael McCaffery for his generous sponsorship.
