I'm planning to do a 'sponsored' walk across Scotland as a solo 'challenger' in the annual TGO Challenge.  All funds raised are going to the Motor Neurone Disease Association and I'm doing this for my lovely friend Malkins, who was a wonderful supporting friend in my time of need.

My planned route takes me from Torridon on the West Coast to Montrose on the East Coast, covering 225 miles, unsupported, over 11 Munros and including 9,500 metres of ascent. (I hope the weather is kind)

So..... I have finally completed my route plan which i have submitted to the TGO Challenge Co-ordinators for vetting.  Hopefully I'll receive positive feedback in the next few weeks.  My route takes me over 11 Munros, over 225 miles and includes 9,500 meters of ascent.  I plan to wildcamp for 8 nights, stay in bothies for 3 nights, youth hostel 2 nights and finally a luxury B&B for one night - can't wait for that!!  Now i just need to work out how to get to Torridon with my backpack, then how i get home from Montrose.  I also need to plan my food supply, gas, etc (as obviously I cannot carry 14 days worth of food when i set off).  I need to organise food parcels etc etc... oh my!
