Alhamdulillah, we are very fortunate for the lives we live as we have a home, water and food at our disposal. Not to mention, a childhood where we have families and friends who love and care for us. However, there are children in this world who live in unimaginable conditions. Squalid and overcrowded settlements in rapidly urbanised cities, also known as slums, marked by high levels of poverty and low levels of service provision. Whilst a large part of our childhood is engaging in education - in these slums, child labour is rife.

Muslim Charity has been one of the leading organisations in providing education to some of the most vulnerable children in the world. They have built new schools, refurbished old ones, and now working to establish schools in slum areas of Kenya, Bangladesh, and Pakistan. 

Muslim Charity works across the globe advocating for children rights. These children often are child laborers and are prime victims of trafficking. Our schools will provide the safe haven they need during the day while their parents are working.  

One of there targeted ‘slum’ schools in Bangladesh is based near a brothel. The school will not only provide much-needed education but a safe haven from the evils of brothel life and possibly an opportunity to break free from a potential life of abuse.

Together we can provide a meaningful experience for children to be happy, to learn, and to fulfil their dreams and aspiration.
