St Margaret's Somerset Hospice - Mandalas & Mountains · 21 October 2012 ·

St Margaret’s Hospice has been at the heart of Somerset’s community for over 40 years, delivering high quality, responsive and compassionate care to patients and their families facing a life-limiting illness.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

The work the hospice does cannot be underrated and they need every penny we can raise. I am paying for the cost of the trip myself so any money donated will go direct to St. Margarets.

This challenge was tough and whilst there is no actual climbing the trek l certainly required me to be fit.

I have trekked in the foot hills of the himalayas through isolated villages, seeing agriculture as it has been practised for centuries.

The trainingg paid off .I managed all 75km without injury,it was great fun

When not working or training I have been making preserves to raise money as well and have currently sold around 450 jars. Thank you for buying them.

I am very grateful for any support you can give me, thank you.
