Story

This is a big tick off my bucket list!

Having always said that no one will convince me to jump out of a perfectly good serviceable plane ... I am braving it in memory of my late brother, Johan Hattingh (1975 - 2004).

Johan was a freefall instructor (HALO / HAHO) with the South African Defence Force and had always pestered me to do a tandem jump with him.  Sadly, he was killed in Iraq in 2004, whilst working for a private security firm and I never got the opportunity to do this with him.

My family has a  history full of military tales of bravery and sacrifice, in both the South African Defence and Air Force and this is my tribute to them ... having the guts to do this - something I had vowed never to do.

I am asking for you to please help me achieve this by reaching into your pockets and sponsoring me - my goal is to raise at least £395.00 for this fantastic charity!
