Mental Health UK is here for anyone experiencing a mental health problem. We are made up of four organisations based in each of the four nations of the UK, working together to improve mental health.

Story

I work for Lloyds Banking Group and we are proud to be working in partnership with Mental Health UK* in 2017 and 2018. We're aiming to raise at least £2 million per year.

Last year I got back into running in support of my own mental and physical health. I achieved the physical health goal I set, and wanted to use that to start to give something back for the support I've had at work and through the mental health charities over the last 3 years.

So my new physical health goal is to run 10km at the Great Scottish Run, and I hope that it will also help me to achieve my mental health goal to rebuild my resilience this year too.

*Mental Health UK is a network of four national charities working across Scotland, England, Wales and Northern Ireland to improve the lives of people with mental illness, and to support carers. Together Rethink Mental Illness, Support in Mind Scotland, Hafal, and MindWise have worked for over 40 years to provide services, information and advice to support anyone affected by mental illness.
