On May 22nd we are running the Edinburgh Marathon in aid of Prostate Cancer. It is Hannah's first marathon, but Marie's second marathon (although her first one was ??? years ago!)
We chose to run the Edinburgh Marathon in memory of our cherished, much missed friend, Bill Kennedy, who died as as a consequence of prostate cancer. Bill was from Edinburgh who was also an enthusiastic runner. It is an honour for both of us to run this marathon in his memory.
We would both like to thank everyone who supported our Sponsorship Evening, held at Crudwell Village Hall on April 9th. Your kind donations and support have gone a long way towards helping us reach our target, and we hope that you had as much fun that evening as we did! Special thanks to all the members of El Pueblo who travelled from all corners of the country to play for our evening. Also thanks to our committee of Maureen, Caroline and Michael. And last but not least thanks to all of our sponsors who donated raffle prizes.
