It's almost 4 years now since my Mum had a serious stroke. Initially the prognosis was pretty bad, the Mum we knew and loved was unlikely to return. To say we were devastated was an understatement!!! We were lucky, if the person gets to the hospital in time they can be given drugs to minimise the damage, Mum got her drugs with about 10 minutes to spare and thankfully she has made an amazing recovery, not 100% but nowhere near how bad as first thought.

That's why I'm raising money for the Stroke Association so they can continue not just lifesaving work but to promote how important acting FAST really is. Ten mins later and Mum would be paralysed, unable to talk and no with no memory but it really doesn't have to be like that. Please give what you can so we can help others xxx
