<p>Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.<br><br>Middlesbrough's famous landmark, the Transporter Bridge, stands at 180ft high. On October 16th, I will be launching myself from the bridge to zip along a wire across the river, at approximately 30mph! Read *UPDATE* below!<br><br>So why am I doing this? Two reasons.... I actually rather enjoy launching myself from great heights, but more importantly, to raise money for Mencap.<br><br>Mencap is the leading voice of learning disability and they work to change laws, challenge prejudice and ensure people with learning disabilities are valued, listened to and included. Their services support people with learning disabilities to live as they choose and achieve the things they want out of life. In short, their work is amazing and makes such a positive difference to the lives of so many people!<br><br>Please help me reach my target and support this extremely worthwhile cause, by making a donation..... any amount, no matter how small, will be very much appreciated!</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>*UPDATE* I have now done my zip slide and it was an amazing experience!!
