Marion has been through the various scanners at the Paul Strickland Centre more times than she cares to remember, both in 1994 and 2009. When she went through it for the first time in 2009, she apparently 'lit up like a Christmas tree' - not the best news. The second time, about three months later, showed no apparent sign of disease and so allowed her to progress to the stem cell transplant. The rest of the story, you know about.
