Story
I DID IT !!!!!!
I ran the Virgin London Marathon 2010 on April 25th!
My time was 4 hours 45 minutes
It was a fantastic experience from the registration at Excel on Saturday ( not forgertting the Pasta Party), to meeting the Sense Team, to Greenwich to the start , to running all the way, no walking, to the finish!
Pretty tough at times but I got through it and now have the Medal, as you can see in the picture taken at Horse Guards with my Support Team! It was amazing to be involved in such an event.
I would like to say a MASSIVE thank you all my family, friends, colleagues and patients for supporting Sense and myself. I have been able to raise more than my intended target, which is just brilliant and I could not have done it without you!
Thank you if you are visiting my JustGiving page for the first time.
A little bit about Sense:
SENSE supports and campaigns for children and adults who are deaf/blind, providing advice and specialist services to deaf/blind people, their families, carers and the professionals who work with them. Few individuals are completely deaf and blind. Most have some remaining sight and / or hearing of which they can make use. SENSE helps them to develop their talents and choose how they want to live their lives.
Please support me and much more importantly, SENSE, by sponsoring my run of the Marathon.
Any donation would be so welcome.
Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. Many, many thanks to you all
