Story
Err....yes, I'm doing it again. Cycling a long way in tight shorts for charity.
This time it's for the Lawrence Dallaglio Foundation. Lawrence did our ride with us in the Pyrenees last year so much he decided to start one of his own - except make it longer. The plan is to start in Rome on Feb 10th and finish in Edinburgh on March 12th - via Paris, Twickenham, Cardiff and Dublin - in time to watch the English thrash the Scots at Murrayfield. I'm doing the first stage - 650kms from Rome to Nice in about 4 days - and then a few days whilst in the UK. I'd do the whole thing but someone's got to make the pizzas.
The L.D. Foundation hopes to raise £1m and will support a number of charities - in particular Sport Relief, DeBra and Help for Heroes.
Many of you sponsored me for the Pyrenees ride and I'm conscious I'm asking for sponsorship again after an indecently short interval. Anything you donate - however small - will be gratefully received.
Many thanks
Mark
