This year I have been asked to join Dad's Army team to raise money for Maggies through participating in the Monster Bike and Hike Event. A good golfing friend of mine has prostate cancer and he and his family have told me of the help that they have received by using the Maggies Centre in Dundee.  Cancer has had a great impact on their lives and dealing with it has been very difficult.  The support they received at Maggies has helped them both immensly.  Maggies survive on fundraising so I am going to cycle 30 miles from Fort William to Fort Augustus and then hike 41 miles to Inverness with the rest of the team.  This will be a huge challenge for me so please dig deep and help those people who have to live with cancer every day.
