Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page!

I have done a few triathlons in the past and I am just into double figures for half marathons, the thought of a full marathon and the pain it entails numbs me to my core. I have been on about doing (and putting off!) the London Marathon for years now, but I have finally man'ed up and summoned the will to give it go - it will be our Olympic year after all.

Enough about me, this challenge and page is all about a small local charity called Max Appeal. I managed to get the place in the marathon via a friend and colleague who set up and runs the charity after losing his baby son to a rare condition called DiGeorge Syndrome - so this is all about raising as much money as possible, every pound really will make a difference!!!

So please dig deep, donate now and thank you for your support!

Better go for a run now.
