Thanks for taking the time to visit my "Ride For Emma" London to Amsterdam 2011 JustGiving page.
The Emma's Bubble Trust "Ride For Emma" cycle team is taking on the trek to Amsterdam as its 2011 challenge, and joining me on the journey will be Ian Flight and Adam Lynch, plus redoutable back up man Paul Lynch, who'll be giving us much needed support en route.
We've decided to follow a route that - as ever - starts at the Royal Marsden in Sutton where Emma was treated, and takes us through London and Essex to Harwich, where we pick up an overnight ferry to the Hook of Holland, and then down to Amsterdam itself.
To make things more interesting (!!) we'll be doing this route there and back in four days. I also intend using the Harwich to London leg on the last day (Sunday 28th August; circa 86 miles) as a bit of a time trial as I want to get home by 16.00 to see my beloved Arsenal play at Manchester United in the Prem if at all possible (although don't hold me to this) ...!
So please dig deep and support us by donating now. Make all the effort and saddle sores worthwhile....
