Mark Chambers is raising money for Place2Be
Story
Hi everyone, well I can already hear you all chuckling...
In April I’m completing a challenge for the Place2Be, children's mental health charity. This is all part of Rigby Group IGO Challenge for Place2Be so, with my colleagues from Eden Hotel Collection and Rigby Group up to 50 of us will be taking part to give something back to support this worthy cause.
So we hit the Lake District on Day 1 with a 36km cycle & Day 2 is a 30km hike. Easy I hear you say, well hear comes the funny bit.....no hot baths and no room service in luxury hotels as we are camping!!!
You’ll be pleased to know I’ve been in training, on my first bike ride I got a puncture & first hike has resulted in a blisters....anyhow I’ve got my padded shorts packed so wish me luck and thank you for your support. Mark
