SCAMPPS in Surrey is a registered charity that supports young children who have moderate to severe complex special needs living in Surrey. It has been set up by a group of parents who themselves have young special needs children.

Story

Hi everyone, Mark & Spencer (two finely tuned athletes not the retail concern) have decided to walk approximately 26 miles (marathon distance) up and down a rugged stretch of the South West Coastal Path in 1 day on 7th May 2010 to raise as much money as possible for an amazing charity. SCAMPPS in Surrey supports children with complex and special needs living in Surrey and the neighbouring London boroughs of Croydon, Kingston-Upon-Thames, Merton and Sutton. It is a registered charity run by a group of parents who themselves have young special needs children. The families they support have a wide range of disabilities including: genetic conditions such as Down Syndrome, Prader Willi and other rare disorders, Cerebral Palsy, Autistic Spectrum Disorders, Global Development Delay, learning disabilities; or medical conditions such as Spina Bifida and Cystic Fibrosis.
