A few months ago I lost yet another person I cared about to the uncaring, unfeeling, unsympathetic and indiscriminate monster that calls itself CANCER, and I've decided to run not one but two sponsored runs this year, in order to help those currently suffering from this vile disease.
Grabbhalvan is the first of these, a 10km run in my hometown of Norrköping, to be followed by Midnattsloppet, another 10km run in Stockholm in August.
I have decided to dedicate these runs to two who braved the fight and lost: my mother, Lesley Casson, and my dear friend, Stuart Hardacre, and to two writers, currently giving the fight all they have: Paul Haines and Jay Lake.
Thanks to all who have taken the time to check out the page and thanks ever so much for donating!
