Story
Hello, thanks for stopping by. One of the things many people don't know about Network Rail is that they make their employees run long distances for good causes. I say "make"... It wasn't so long ago that I'd never run more than a weedy three miles without a ball to chase, but now I stand on the threshold of a mighty 13.1, and for a very good cause. Action for Children supports and speaks out for the UK's most vulnerable and neglected children and young people, for as long as it makes a difference in their lives. It's Network Rail's corporate charity for the next couple of years, and a cause deserving of support.
Wherever you are on Sunday 8th July, please spare a thought for my colleagues and I as we wend our way through the concrete jungle that is Milton Keynes. If you're able to supplement that thought with a donation, however small, rest assured you'll play a part in making the whole endeavour worthwhile.
Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
