I am running 5km in a Santa outfit to raise urgently needed funds for Mind in Harrow's Information Helpline, the only one in the area. I will be running on Sunday, 4 December 2011 in London.

Our Information Helpline is vital service for hundreds of people each year. For example, if a caller wants to find affordable counselling or where to get help in a crisis. Mind in Harrow is a registered charity whose mission is to improve the mental health and well-being of local people.

I aim to raise a minimum of £200. What difference will this money make? Every £10 will pay for at least 1 person to access our Helpline for support at the time when they need it most. Timely help can mean the difference between the first steps to recovery or a crisis turning to a tragedy.
