Premier League referee Mark Halsey is fighting cancer and his wife Michelle also diagnosed with Leukaemia need your support to help them reach their target of raising £50,000 for The Christie, leading cancer centre in Manchester.

It has not been an easy year, Michelle was diagnosed on New Years Eve 2008 and in August 2009 when we thought things couldn't get any worse, Mark was diagnosed with cancer. But with the support of the staff and the smiles you get from the other patients when walking into this wonderful hospital, The Christie, it makes dealing with this awful disease a lot better. If there is one thing we have learnt it is to keep smiling and enjoy life.

Every little bit helps so please dig deep, everyone thinks that it will never happen to them, we were one of them so please help us raise the £50,000 to try and get this disease beat so that hopefully a cure can be found and it will never happen to you

Please take a moment to leave a message of hope and any donation however big or small to support the development of cancer treatment, research and education through investment in the very best experts, facilities and other support services at The Christie.

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
