My story

Hi – On Sunday the 5th of February I will be walking over 15-20 feet of red hot coals that will be burning at 800 degrees Fahrenheit! I haven’t lost my mind - I’m doing it all in the name of charity and will receive only 2 hours training!

The two worthy causes are:

  • The UCLanSport for Development Project that supports sport projects that are being delivered in some of the poorest parts of the world by agencies such as Sport in Action and EduSport - educating people about sexual health and HIV awareness through sport and play.
  • The Harris Bursary Fund which helps bright and able students from disadvantaged backgrounds continue their studies at UCLan by providing essentials such as food vouchers, book tokens and basic computer equipment.

If you want to come along and watch me on the day spectators are welcome from 5.30pm. So please donate now and then on the day come and watch as I walk over burning hot embers trying to act cool as ice.

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
