My colleague Jon Sheard lost a close friend David Bernau to cancer last summer and he and Dave had always vowed to run the London Marathon together.  I have done the London Marathon a couple of times before and always said never again after the last time, which was 7 years ago and has left lasting memories of pain and discomfort. I was so moved by Jon’s sadness that I and a colleague Alex Taylor, have agreed to join him in running the London Marathon in Dave’s memory
