At the beginning of the year, I received the sad news that a great friends' father had passed away after a short battle against cancer.

In his honour and to raise money for several great causes, we have decided to participate in an event which is going to push us to our limit!

The Inov-8 Roseland August Trial or The R.A.T. is a series of coastal runs across the challenging but stunning South Cornwall Coastal Path.

There are 4 different routes based on experience, White, Red, Black & Plague runs varying in distance; so we have decided to go for it and try our first Ultra-Marathon 32 miles or 50km dependent on your preference....
