Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Because One & All is not a registered charity all money pledged on this website will go to the One & All Youth Academy with the gift aid going to Cornwall Community Foundation

I ride with the One & All Cycling and have been for the last 3 or 4 years. I am looking to be sponsored to raise money for the One and All Youth Cycling Academy. This is the only Cycling Academy for under 18's in the UK. There are 80 young riders in the Academy with fully trained coaches and mentors, not only teaching how to ride competitively, but the benefits of exercise and well being. Within the academy there are 14 in the development squad. During this year the Youth Academy will enter 40 National and International events, including:

3 riders going to the World BMX Championships in Birmingham 22nd May
4 riders to National Youth Circuit Series Champs, Gravesend, Kent 8th July
5 riders to the Junior Tour of Wales Road Race 25th - 27th August
4 riders to the National Time Trial (TT) Championships, Leicestershire

For a full event list and more see www.oneandallyouth.co.uk

Due to our geographical location in the UK there is a huge burden of travelling costs. As this is an Olympic year I believe that this is the year all businesses should support Sport and our sportsmen and women of tomorrow.

Below is a paragraph form a One and All Press statement

One & All provide qualified coaches and enthusiastic group leaders, plus they have the help of several patrons who will act as mentors. These include Olympic silver medallist and world champion, Wendy Houvenaghel, ex-pro racer Tom Southam and current professionals, Chris Opie, Steve Lampier and Yanto Barker, all of whom were born or live in Cornwall, or have strong connections with it.

To have so many great riders in one club must be down to the Cornish hills!

By riding from Lands End to Newcastle I would like to raise money for the One & All Youth Academy and with your help we may find the next British Mark Cavendish, Chris Hoy or Victoria Pendleton. We start our 500 mile ride on Easter Sunday arriving in Newcastle in time for the Britannia Board meeting! For those who wish to and that can average 18mph please join us either at Lands End or two days later at Bristol or on Friday for the final 10 miles at a very leisurely pace. I hope my friends and colleagues can sponsor me and more importantly the One and All Youth Academy.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

So please dig deep and donate now.
