As many of you will know, I loast my lovely wife, Amanda, to breast cancer earlier this year.
To honour her memory I wanted to do something to raise funds for the Beechwood Cancer Care Centre in Stockport. Both Amanda and I received a lot of invaluable help and support from beechwood, and I know Amanda made a number of lasting friends there.
Being totally unfit, anything wildly energetic would be out of the question so I have decided to sacrifice my long flowing locks and big bush beard (see photo when I've managed to upload it). All support would be most welcome.
The deed will be performed on the evening of August 28th at my local, The Olde Vic,1 Chatham Street, Edgeley, Stockport, SK3 9ED.
