As many of you will know my dad has had Parkinson's for nearly 10 years. In that time I have seen the life of a once healthy, active and alert man transformed into a daily struggle. The impact on my mum, who is now his full-time carer, has been equally devastating. I have decided this summer to take part in the Great Manchester Cycle to support the work of the main charity supporting those with this condition, Parkinson's UK.
