7 September 2009 .......
Sorry all, but the jump didn't go ahead yesterday. The first few jumps went ahead but the wind picked up in the afternoon and everything was cancelled. All the nervous pees for nothing. I'll keep you posted about the reschedule if you keep posting the donations!!

1 September 2009....
Well it looks like the jump is going to be on Sunday at Kinglassie in Fife. If you fancy coming to see us or just want more info paste the following link into your browser.
Looking forward to the Skydive now but I suppose I will have to try and stay off the sauce on Saturday night. Anyway, I'm off to find my wellies. Apparently they are useful incase I wet myself!!!! So let's see a few more pounds before the weekend.
Many thanks, Mark

WOW! Thanks for all the donations so far. You have been so much more generous than I had hoped. Had my medical test today and it seems I am OK to do the jump. The only thing stopping me now is the 15 stone weight limit so I am away out to eat some more pies.... Keep up the donations!
Mark (only a little worried)
8 August 2009....
Just under a month until some poor chap is going to be strapped to me and forced to jump out of a plane, all in the name of charity. The biggest challenge will be for me to get under the 15 stone weight limit (maybe I should have done a sponsored diet instead!).
I am really looking forward to doing this as it is an opportunity to raise money for the Sick Kids Friends Foundation who have been really good to Megan and her family. Five year old Megan is our fiesty next door neighbour who knows Edinburgh Sick Kids Hospital well from her time spent there fighting leukaemia. She has done really well and is coming home today.
So if you fancy seeing a fat 40 something falling from the sky, dig deep.
Thanks!
