Story

Hello there!

Thanks for visiting my page. On Sunday 4th October at around 12 o clock in the town of Oban I will be running a half marathon to raise money for the Vine Trust charity.

I will be going on a work party with the Vine Trust from the 9th-25th October. Just to let you know of what the Vine Trust do.

All the money I raise goes to support the work the Vine Trust and in particular the work that I am going to be involved in in Peru.

This work is with 'Los Abandonados'. It literally means The Abandoned Ones. These children are abandoned and given absolutely no hope except for a life in some of the toughest streets.

They bring these 'Abandoned Ones' into centres throughout Peru and offer them hope, purpose and fulfillment in their lives. These children discover that they are of worth and of value and that there is a God who really does love them.

So I would ask that you sponsor me for this half marathon and also the Inca trail I will be going on. My wish is simply that as much money can be raised as possible so that as many children may benefit from the work of the Vine Trust and be rescued from a life on the streets and all that that entails.

Thanks for taking time to visit this page

'Owe nothing to anyone except your obligation to love one another...'
