Story
2017: London to Paris: three days; one Channel crossing; one wicker basket and dog; one dodgy bit of route through a forest in France that was fine for me but raised some complaints from others; a staggered and triumphal arrival at Notre Dame. How to top it?
2018: London to Amsterdam. Similar formula. Wicker basket. Dog prepared. Quite a long first day (London to Harwich). One dodgy knee. Very pleasant training ride this weekend with Pete Jenkins: see below photo taken by a dog walker…this was attempt five and the best we could get. I think it shows my good side. And the windmill. Sorry Pete.
What could possibly go wrong? And it's all for a good cause: the London Air Ambulance. We didn't need them last year and I am jolly hopeful we won't need them this year. But we are keen to support them as others will need them. So all donations are gratefully accepted: the link below is the easiest way to do it. Thanks for your support and taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
