Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page. In 2007 I was diagnosed as suffering from a mild form of Multiple Sclerosis. I have therefore decided to raise money for the Muliple Sclerosis Research charity to help in speeding up the process of diagnosis of this degenerative disease. Thankfully for me I can carry on with life normally. Thousands of people are not as fortunate as me.

I am entering a series of running events this year which currently looks as follows (this is evolving as the year progresses!)

25 March – Sport Relief 6 mile (40mins)

1 April – Reading Half Marathon (1hr 39 51)

13 May – Oxford Town and Gown (10k) (46:18 - first 2km took 16mins!

3rd June - Plymouth Half Marathon (1hr 39 57!)

14 July – Adderbury Half (1:52 - involved a little swim!)

16 September – Great North Run (1:41)

14 October – Oxford Half (1:38:06 and a PB)

Rutland Water Marathon! (4:07:46 - And alot of cramp)

December 5th - Works fun run in fancy dress. The fancy dress will be nominated by all kind donors!

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

So please dig deep and donate now. Every penny counts and will help spur me on.

Thanks

Mark
