Thank you for taking the time to visit by JustGiving page.  In June I will be attempting to complete the Etape Eryri Xtrem bike ride in Snowdonia.  I wouldn't normally ask for sponsorship for something like this as I love cycling and enjoy the personal challenge of completing long-distance rides.  This ride is a bit different, however: at 221 miles (355 km) long with over 4,000 metres of climbing it will be by far the toughest ride I will have ever attempted.  To add to the difficulty, the route has to be completed within 18 hours.  Full details of the event can be found here: http://etapeeryri.com/content/xtrem

I have chosen to raise money for Macmillan Cancer Support.  The work that Macmillan do is invaluable to those suffering from cancer and to their families.  Both my Grandad and my Nanna received care from Macmillan nurses in their final months.  They were treated with respect and dignity at a time when they were at their lowest and weakest.  The support provided also made a huge difference to my family members who were caring for them.  Please spare a few pounds or pence to support the fantastic work that Macmillan do.
