<p>After successfully scaling <em>Kilimanjaro</em> last year, I have decided to tempt fate again and trek to Everest Base Camp this year, from 24th October to 12th November.</p>
<p>It will be a different trek this time as it is over a 14 day period rather than up and down in 6 days as for Kilimanjaro. It is being organised by <a title="Mountain Kingdoms" href="http://www.mountainkingdoms.com/itinerary_info.ihtml?schedid=919">Kingdom Mountains</a>.</p>
<p>My chosen charity for the trek is <a title="NICFC" href="http://nicfc.com/">Northern Ireland Cancer Fund for Children (NICFC)</a>.</p>
<p><span style="color: #008000;">I am financing the actual trip myself so 100% of any donation goes to the charity</span>.</p>
