<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0cm 0cm 0pt;"><span style="font-family: "Arial","sans-serif";"><span style="font-size: small;">I have volunteered to take part in the ‘Tri for Life Triathlon relay’ as I am just about to turn 50! I have roped in my good friends, Richard Hatter and Neil Singer into participating with me.</span></span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0cm 0cm 0pt;"><span style="font-size: small;"><span style="font-family: "Arial","sans-serif";">Richard will be running 5k, Neil swimming 400m and I will be cycling 20k (having just learnt to ride my bike and started training) and my aim is to finish in under 40 minutes.</span></span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0cm 0cm 0pt;"><span style="font-size: small;"><span style="font-family: "Arial","sans-serif"; mso-ansi-language: EN;" lang="EN">Rays of Sunshine Children's Charity was formed in 2004 to help children who are living with serious or life-limiting illnesses between the ages of 3-18, across the United Kingdom. Rays of Sunshine raise money to try and help by granting these children’s wishes however impossible the wish may seem and also by helping hospitals, hospices and specialist schools improve their facilities. With your help and support together we can turn wishes into happy memories. </span><span style="font-family: "Arial","sans-serif";">Tri for Life was set up four years ago, with the sole aim of raising money for charities. </span></span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0cm 0cm 0pt;"><span style="font-size: small;"><span style="font-family: "Arial","sans-serif";">Rays of Sunshine is one of four main charity partners to benefit alongside Great Ormond Street Hospital, Whizz-Kidz and Breakthrough for Breast Cancer. The event is aiming to raise £150,000 for each of the four charities over the next three years. For Rays of Sunshine this will enable around 150 seriously ill children to put their illness on hold and experience the magic of having a wish come true.</span></span></p>
