Hello and thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I have always felt compassion towards the homeless and have worked with them as a volunteer through the Salvation Army, as well as regularly helping out at a Sunday drop-in for vulnerable people at my church. I've often wondered what it's like sleeping rough and the Sleep Easy event is a chance for me to get a firsthand taste of that with YMCA staff, friends and supporters - even if it's just one night!

The event will be taking place in the YMCA car park on Bethel Street in Norwich to raise awareness about homelessness and raise vital funds for YMCA Norfolk, which provides a warm bed to 231 young people in supported accomodation across the county every night. By sponsoring me, you're supporting vulnerable people and giving them a place to call home.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

So we'll sleep easier on Jan 30th if you dig deep and donate now. Thank you.
